Team Objective

The purpose of the supermileage club is to give students of all levels an opportunity to develop practical engineering skills. Throughout the year, the team meets weekly to design and develop a new and improved supermileage vehicle to compete in the Shell Eco-marathon competition. In this competition, students from universities across the world compete to see who can build the most fuel-efficient vehicles.

How to Get Involved

First, go learn about what we do by watching the video in the who we are tab, this will give you a better idea about what the team does (design, size restrictions, ease of use, MPG, how high mileage is achieved). You can even look for us (BYU Supermileage) in the news to learn more about our vehicles, our accomplishments, and the experiences of our team members. We also recommend checking out the Shell Eco-Marathon website to better understand the competition we compete in. Once you have a better grasp of what we do, send an email to supermileage-assoc@byu.edu to join, or join through the BYU clubs web page.
