Team Objective

The purpose of the supermileage club is to give students of all levels an opportunity to develop practical engineering skills. Throughout the year, the team meets weekly to design and develop a new and improved supermileage vehicle to compete in the Shell Eco-marathon competition. In this competition, students from universities across the world compete to see who can build the most fuel-efficient vehicle.

How to Get Involved

If the team objective is interesting to you, and you want to get involved, you can work from left to right on the menu buttons above. Levels of participation include (Investigate, Apply, Demonstrate, Perform, Lead and Mentor). For an explanation of these levels, visit the ME web site for experiential learning.

Once you have taken the quiz and have applied to the team we recommend you get in contact with the team leaders via our email address Supermileage@byu.net. New students should look at the New Students tab under the drop down menu of Apply. This will get them started on their first project, teaching them valuable skill for the team and future career endeavors.

Meeting Time

The team works on the Supermileage vehicle in the BYU Engine Research Lab Room 109D.
General meetings are on Wednesday's 3 to 5 pm.
